Addressing Environmental, Social and Governance Issues
At Tetra Pharm Technologies, we put environmental, social and governance (ESG) related matters at the forefront of our business strategy. We recognize our responsibility to contribute positively to the world around us, and by adopting sustainable practices, promoting social responsibility, and maintaining strong governance, we strive to create long-term value for our employees, customers, stakeholders, and the environment.

Tetra Pharm Technologies is dedicated to reducing its environmental footprint through sustainable practices in purchasing, energy use, and waste management. In our efforts toward sustainable purchasing and resource management, we apply a sustainable purchasing framework to ensure ethical and responsible practices. Energy efficiency and carbon reduction are also key priorities. As one of many examples, we have instituted a weekly meat-free canteen day, and we offset carbon emissions through support for reforestation and re-establishment of biodiversity. To promote waste reduction and recycling, we have implemented a comprehensive waste management system that includes recycling various materials. As another example, we are using rented and reused furniture in our company headquarters.

Beyond our environmental commitments, we believe in fostering an inclusive workplace and supporting the broader community through targeted social initiatives. Our team comprises more than 10 different nationalities, ranging in age from 20 to 62 years reflecting our dedication to inclusiveness. Furthermore, we recruit from underrepresented groups, including unemployed and individuals with disabilities, and we offer specialized training programs and internships to improve access to employment. This includes tailored opportunities for individuals with physical and mental disabilities, including neurodivergent individuals. Gender balance is a key focus in our recruitment efforts. We aim for a 50/50 male-to-female ratio, with all hiring decisions based strictly on competency. As one of the first biopharmaceutical companies in Denmark, Tetra Pharm Technologies has introduced a 4-day workweek to promote employee well-being and productivity. This work culture innovation is designed to improve employee well-being, increase productivity and strengthen work-life balance for the company's employees. Giving it back to society is a fundamental part of our values at Tetra Pharm Technologies. We actively participate in and support various humanitarian aid initiatives aimed at assisting children, disadvantaged families, and individuals with mental health disorders through regular contributions.

We have established a comprehensive Code of Conduct, ensuring that every employee conduct themselves with the utmost integrity. This is supported by specific corporate policies, including our Whistleblower Policy that provides a structured framework for handling any reports of misconduct. These measures help us maintain the highest standards of ethical business practices while fostering a responsible and inclusive corporate culture.
